VOXVU is a volume rendering tool available on SUN workstations equipped with a TAAC board. Does anybody out there know if Silicon Grpahics has a similar tool available on personal IRIS-4D/2* ? Any pointer/ suggestion is welcome. Thilaka sumane@ibis.stanford.edu

Silicon Graphics has licensed VoxelLab only on GT and GTX machines; it will not work on Personal Irises. I don't know the technical reasons why it doesn't work, and don't know if the licensing arrangement between SGI and Vital Images might change. --gavin DISCLAIMER: I am not an official spokesperson for SGI or Vital Images. --gavin (gavin@sgi.com, (415)335-1024)
