I'm in the process of porting gdb to sgi 4d machines, based on a gdb
port to DECstation mips machines. It seems to basically work, but
unpredictably flakes out with messages such as "debugged process
doesn't exist" or "unable to set break points". Oh well.
My question has to do with ptrace: Directive 1 (PTRC_RD_I) reads data
from I space, 2 (PTRC_RD_U) reads from D space. Does it matter if you
read data from data space using PTRC_RD_I?
