Attention all people trying to compile X11R4 on sgi machines!!
IRIX 3.3 has a complete set of ported/supported X11R4 clients and
libraries, and a server that is X11R3 with some X11R4 stuff like
shape extension thrown in. Note that the libraries, header files,
and Imake config files are part of the X11 development tape
distribution, which is sold at extra cost.
It is also worth noting that 3.3 has a much improved X server.

Me too. We have a summer student working on it, and any help would
make us happy campers.
