Is there an automount program similar to Sun's automount program available for the SGI systems? Is anyone successfully running an automounter under IRIX 3.2 (or 3.1)? I am currently investigating an automounter called "amd", but it doesn't make any references to SGI or IRIX and it appears it will require some porting effort in order to make it functional. I'd like to ditto that question.... We have a LARGE number of systems with their file systems cross-mounted via NFS. The automounter is in IRIX 3.3. I dont know if it works, but its there.

automount(1M) is in 3.3.
