[comp.sys.sgi] Font manager bug?

drb@eecg.toronto.edu (David R. Blythe) (09/12/90)

When I try to use the font manager to rotate a font like Times-Roman
by say 90 degrees (using fmrotatepagematrix()), characters with descenders
(e.g. 'p') aren't rendered in the correct spot. To see this try running
4Dgifts/examples/fontmanager/rotate

	e.g. rotate Times-Roman 24 90
the letter p will be shifted off its normal baseline

This is release 3.2 on a 4D/70GT. I don't see anything in the
font manager notes ... Anyone else have problems with this?
