About TV surgery: beware floating chassis! We attempted the same type of surgery in 1972, however we were after the tuner. A very excited coil in the AC input leapt off the set. Capacitor feeds will in most case solve this problem, but check the set before attaching the computer. good luck, mlsmith@nadc.ARPA
