[comp.sys.sgi] xfig 2.0 patch level 9 on an sgi 4d70/gt

   I have compiled and linked xfig 2.0 patch level 9 on a SGI 4D70/GT.
The only warning message during the procedure was when undo.c was
compiled.  The compiler complained about not having a path to line 112
in undo.c.  When I run xfig the canvas comes up on the console with
no icons in the icon section of the window.  The only text on the
canvas is Times-Roman and version.  When I select one of the icon buttons
text explaining the button appears in place of the version.  The icon
button also goes from white to black.  Does anyone know how to fix this
or have xfig 2.0
working on their sgi?
