[comp.sys.sgi] Postscript printer on PI: Solution

A couple weeks ago I posted the query -
> How do I hook up a Postscript printer to a 4D20?

Raymond W. Arritt at the University of Kansas quickly suggested the answer:
remove the print banner, which is confusing the postscript printer.

Here is a full procedure for adding a Postscript printer to a PI.
- use the System Manager tool's Print Manager to add a new printer,
- edit the file /usr/spool/lp/interface/printer_name, changing one line,
  which appears about 30 lines from the top of the file, to:
	BANNER=0

Also, multiple print queues can be assigned to a single physical printer
port simultaneously, using the System V 'lp' spooler system. (We found
it convenient to set up separate Postscript and normal (text and HP-GL)
print queues, enabling only one or the other depending upon whether or
not the HP Postscript cartridge is plugged into the Laserjet III.)
SG's documentation and print manager tool are of no help for this, alas...

Does anybody have a complete set of "compiled" font files for a postscript
printer for use with DWB on the PI?
