Recently I've been getting the following SYSLOG messages on a new 3.3 server: Nov 4 09:31:05 zingo mountd[2407]: svcudp_create - cannot getsockname: Bad file number Nov 4 09:31:05 zingo mountd[2407]: couldn't create SGI's mount UDP transport Nov 4 09:31:05 zingo mountd[2407]: svctcp_create - cannot getsockname or listen : Socket operation on non-socket Nov 4 09:31:05 zingo mountd[2407]: couldn't create SGI's mount TCP transport This doesn't look healthy, but it doesn't seem to be affecting anything at the moment. Any suggestion as to what it is? Should I attempt to fix it, and if so how? Clifford B.
