I have just found that running 'pwd' from startup.ps causes infinite recursion, and the system fills up with forking pwd's. { (wsh -f Screen.12 -p100,200 -r500 -s40x80 -t"$USER on `hostname``pwd`" ) for kunix } The login hangs and attempt to killall from the console are rebuffed with "no more processes" I have removed the offending pwd, and all is well, but this might cause problems for others. I guess that there is no working directory setup from user.ps dan. +-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | karron@nyu.edu (mail alias that will always find me) | | Dan Karron | | . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
