Hi hardware types, PROBLEM: I have a new 320VGX that has a problem with the scsi bus. The 3.3 diags report "scsi adapter or device error" on test io21. BACKGROUND: I have tried replacing the IO2 and it still had the same problem. I have tested the scsi disk and tape, twin tower, on another machine and they are ok. The machine works fine if the disk is installed in the base of the twin tower but does not work it it is installed on top of the twin tower in one of those twin tower modules. Is the scsi adapter that funny little board that the scsi and id cables from the backplane go into? Do those funny little boards go bad? The funny little board is a PSI/COMBO. Thanks in advance, Bruno
