[comp.sys.sgi] Help needed for printing

Hello, everybody,

I am trying to connect my PI 4D/25 to a printer.
Now we have an IMAGEN2308 on the network, could somebody tell
me how to connect to it? ( I was told that I need a queue file
for it)

and also we have a HP LaserJet II. There's no problem the connect
it. But I cann't print out any image file. What I get from the printer
is just the plain text .

Appreciate any suggestion.

There is a package called Freedom of Press that will convert Postscript
files to a number of printers, inluding the HP series.  Does anyone have
any comments about how well this works?

Also, I am assuming you can convert image files to postscript using tops in
4Dgifts.  Any comments on this?
