get the following error once in a while when I try to run a GL program that uses the 4-sight window system under NeWS. Could not find window slot in shared memory: Error 0 IOT trap (core dumped) This occurs when I execute a program that I had just ran, and also occurs when I execute other GL-4-sight based programs. I've had this error on a personal Iris and a 220GTX, it "goes away" after I log out of the window server (a simple rlogin does not solve the problem). Has anyone experinced this, does anyone know what the error message means? or what to do about it, OR how to provent it? Mike Papper mpapp@godzilla.cgl.rmit.oz.au
