[comp.sys.sgi] Getting Thin for the Personal Iris

Just got my 4D25 (soon to be a 35) and rushed off to find an
adaptor to connect it to our thin-net. Ended up picking the SN2400
thin-net transceiver from St. Clair, for no particular reason.
Was surprised on two counts though: The adaptor and cable fits
inside the cabnet (might be close for people using gen-lock), and
by accident the Thumbscrew version was ordered, which included mounting
hardware so you can lock it down, instead of relying on the regular latch.
Seems to be very nice.

I have no connection with these people except that I bought one,
and thought the net might like to know.
