I'd like to know how to get a TIFF or PICT file encoded and transfered from an SGI to a Macintosh and displayed in a handy drawing program, such as Canvas. Is there a binhex.c for the SGI around, or a uudecode for the Mac? Or would another approach be better? Tim Stearns

< Mail to originator got bounced: 550 <mbclstearns@rutgers.edu>... User unknown" I have found several programs on the net which convert *.hqx files to several different file formats used for representing the 3 part Macintosh files on a unix file system. Also, there is a PD uu(en/de)code for the Mac, which I've used before. If you'd like, I can mail them all to you. There is alot of traffic on this news-group regarding the conversion of this to that file format, so even though I can't help you with that part of your project, I'm sure that either someone else will, or that you can find the answer by downloading the recent proceedings of this group from vgr.brl.mil.
