[comp.sys.sgi] iris-ansi-net on VMS

jit@SLIC.CELLBIO.DUKE.EDU (Jit Keong Tan) (03/09/91)

Does anyone know how to get the SGI terminfo to work on VMS ?
I need to access to a remote VAX/VMS to do editing and compiling,
how do most people do it (as a non-privileged user) ?

Thanks in advance.

I posted this question a few days ago,

Quite a few people asked me if I got any answer but the answer is not yet.

Currently, I have worked around it using xterm, because the VMS host
that I log on happens to have DEC windows (X window) running.

I have just posted this question on comp.os.vms if I get any answer,
I'll summarize it and post it here.
