[comp.sys.sgi] 3D binary data tranlsators to IGES

I am looking for assistance in importing 3D data sets (scientific visualization)
to the IGES format, which seems to be a common format among animation packages.
If anyone can offer any assistance in finding source code or other sources
for solving this problem, I will collect and post the results.
