PROGRAMMING EDITOR for PC family of machines

I just started using the new editor BRIEF. My first impressions are that it
is one great editor and I'm extremely satisfied. Here's a quick run-down.
You may have noted a similar description by one of the authors.

	* full screen editor
	* highly advanced EMACS style macro facility
	* windowing of different files/buffers (tiled - resizing possible)
	* file lengths limited only by physical disk space
	* ability to escape to {MS|PC}DOS shell while in editor
	* redefinable keyboard layout (the default setup is great, though)
	* fast
	* sophisticated
	* fairly good to great documentation - not really for novice users
	* highly flexible due to the macro facility (macros have to be
	  (compiled using a macro compiler - simple, painless)
	* affordable ($195 at the Programmer's Shop)

I'd recommend this editor to serious programmers. It is especially useful
for C coding as it comes with an indenting macros already setup. It also
has a macro for compiling C86 C programs from within the editor. All of the
macros that come with the system are also provided in source form for you
inspection.

To find out more I'd recommend you call the Programmer's Store. Incidentally,
I don't work for the store I mentioned nor the company/people that created
the editor. I'm biased only by my happiness with the product. These views
are my ownand not those of my employeer. Drop me a message if you would like
to know more of what I know about BRIEF.
