[comp.sys.sgi] printer config

ajp2o@crocus.medicine.rochester.edu (Anthony J. Persechini) (05/11/91)

A while back someone posted an article claiming to be able
to send PostScript files to a printer at 19200 baud. I have
tried to do this with a 4D20G and a LaserJet III with PostScript
cartridge. If I use an stty option of 19200 baud in the lp
interface file plus a setting of 19200 baud at the
printer I get an I/O error. Needless to say, everything
works fine at 9600 baud. Has anyone else had this problem?
Any ideas on how to deal with it?

If the person who posted the aforementioned article reads this,
please email me with details of your set up procedure.
