Hi, Does anyone know if there is a way of getting a cross reference listing for both f77(1) or cc(1) ? cxref(1) is inaccurate, it gerenates false symbols that aren't used. prof(1) generates everything. I only want my subroutines/procedures to be listed. Thanks in advance. -------------------------------------------------------- Jit Keong Tan | internet: jit@slic.cellbio.duke.edu (919) 684-8098 | bitnet : tan00001@dukemc.bitnet -------------------------------------------------------- U.S. Mail: Duke University Medical Center Department Of Cell Biology Box 3709 Nanaline Duke Bldg, Rm. 349 Durham, NC 27710

We will have a Fortran source listing option in the next release which gives you variable/function/subroutine/parameter usages/references. It doesn't give you just the function/subroutine cross reference though. cxref(1) seems to be what you want for C. If there are problems with it you can report them to the Hotline to get them fixed rather than giving up on it. That tool is too simple to have any serious bugs. Probably you only missed some -D definitions for the cpp(1) preprocessor. - calvin -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Calvin H.
