Subject: re Free and undirected campus computing facilities : net.micro
In fact, if memory serves me correctly, a couple years ago the Math
Faculty went as far as kicking the entire staff of a UofW software
research/development group off the local Vax UNIX for not
being directly involved with developing software essential to the facility.
And it was not as if the group was actually using the machine to the point
of impacting other users.
Sigh*, I too was one of the last people to have some access to the 11/45,
in fact almost all of my UNIX knowlege is based on the 11/45 experiences.
