Does anyone know how I can start up a graphics process on a 4D system at power up? The IRIS is used to run the out the window scene for a flight simulator and is dedicated to this process. I tried creating a script in /etc/init.d and linking it to /etc/rc2.d but this did not start the process running. I also would like to be able to start the process from a login script. I have been able to do this rather unsuccessfully since there is a flashing window behind the graphics scene which I cannot get rid of. If I start the process manually from the console window I do not have this problem. How can I direct the login script to start the process from the console window? Thanks in advance for your help. --Howard
