My question is simple. How do you know when you have hit EOF while using fgetpwent? the returned value never goes to NULL as for the other routine in the family, nor does any char in the stream as far as I can tell. This is bugging (no pun intended) greatly. because when looking for a user that is not in the file the program read into eternity and dies. :-( Any help would be appreciated.
