I saw the advertisement for the Data General 1 and thought, Wow now thats an improvement and quite nifty. I called the number and ordered some info to be sent to me. I asked how much it cost and was shocked! I dare say it must be gold plated. I recieved my info package and guess what? NO INFO!! It was just high gloss paper with pictures on it. Not even suitable for use on the anatomy. Oh well...

Overpriced? Considering the cost/power of other laptops, like the RS-100? I'd say that a factor of 2-3 for a laptop over the cost of a similar desktops was quite reasonable. After all, RS is charging nearly a factor of 10, and their price is in line with other similar models. The Geneva may be a different story, though. You've got to remember, it costs *money* to get that much machine into that little space. And I'll bet that 80x25 LCD screens aren't cheap, either. Me, I'll wait until they come out with a hard disk, and start showing up with mail-order price breaks. Or maybe until somebody puts a 68K in a similar box. <mike
