Friday of next week we will be releasing to selected beta test sites version 2.0 of our UNIX SGMP/SNMP tools. Currently the tools are working nicely in our environment: SUNOS. VAX4.3 and Gould's UTX2.0 are other target environments for this distribution but with much less "guarantees" during beta test. SUBSTANTIAL rewriting of the SGMP/SNMP/ASN.1 protocol engines have been made over our initial rapid prototype. Gains in performance, and portability, are a result. Substantial loss in complexity and size (thats good) have also been made. Please respond directly to me if your site is interested. Determining factors will be: 1) number of targets (gateways) 2) hosting machine 3) in what time frame you'll be using it 4) how much effort you'll put into reporting bugs.. Marty Schoffstall

I would like to look at the code, and find out if we can use it in a commercial product. I'm very willing to use it in a small, somewhat limited environement and send and/all problem reports back. -brad
