[comp.sys.proteon] SNMP question

Hi,
I can't seem to find this in my Proteon documentation, maybe one of
you can set me straight. I want to use SNMP to (for example) trace
a route through several gateways. In order to do this I want to be
able to query the same session name on every interface on every box.

I don't find (in the manual) how to set up a single session that covers
all the interfaces in the same box, but trial and error shows that it
seems to work if I set the local interface address to 0.0.0.0.

The question is, is this in fact the way it's supposed to work, and is
there any 'risk' in doing this? (Ie: why isn't this documented?)
        Thanks,
                Cliff
