[comp.sys.proteon] P4200 & X.25

poke@BEACH.CIS.UFL.EDU (Dave Pokorney) (07/14/88)

I am looking for information regarding the use of the P4200 in
a network which has available X.25 interfaces. We utilize a private
statewide PSN based on Tymnet Engines and are investigating the use
of the P4200. I have heard a rumor or two that Proteon will have
an X.25 interface available in the near future but have no luck in
finding out more information. I would be interested to know more if
anyone in this group can share it with me.

Thank you,

As far as I know Proteon *still* doesn't have a DDN X.25 interface.

Of course Dave is asking about PDN support, not DDN standard service.

DDN X.25 needs to get done, but my 1822 interfaces work much better
than this sorry X.25 stuff...
