***FLAME ON*** I am personally very disappointed with the support we have received from Proteon on this problem. By the time this is corrected (assuming it is corrected early next week) we will have been down almost a month. The last time I talked to Proteon (Wednesday) they told me they were going to send me a COM2 board and new software load to use until the problems with the COM4 were worked out. Thursday I received 2 roms to replace the ones on the COM4 instead of the promised COM2. We stayed up almost 10 whole hours. Tom: If you wanted a beta test site for your software changes you should have asked first. It certainly was NOT our intent to become one without notification. Perhaps this is included in the discount we received on the box when we purchased it from SURANET? If so, please bill me for the difference - we are trying to run a PRODUCTION network here - not provide a testbed for Proteon. ***FLAME OFF*** My apologies to those of you not interested in our problems, John/
