First an apology to the Net. I'm sorry but our stupid mailer barfed on
the addresses below, so I must resort to the Net.

A ham here at NADC bought one and loves it. Now if they can keep enough
ribbons in stock he would be extatic! Seriously for folks of the typewriter age
black ribbon lasts about 75 pages, and color less (more area is covered with
gorgeous color). Obviously anyone who is always running out must like what he
sees.

I don't know about compatibility problems, but on the PC we use
SMARTERM and CROSSTALK. For everyday communication SMARTERM is preferred by
the users, but CROSSTALK is often used for file transfer. Both programs will
send and receive files and provide disk storage for session archiving but
there are small differences. CROSSTALK provides dialing capability from a
menu which does not work through the LAN I am connected to (It says I am
already connected {to the LAN}). I also saw PC-VT mentioned on the net but I
have no experience with it.
