We have multiple networks and subnets interconnected using multiple (10+) Proteon routers and various types of bridges (20+). We have been experiencing problems with our p4200 routers. They are configured with IP, DECnet and XNS. The routers are configured with P80s, ethernets, and T-1s. When we perform a restart on the routers, the routers crash and must reload the software from the host. This mainly occurs when the XNS is operational, although there may have been a few instances when it happened with just IP running (undocumented.) Has anyone seen anything similar? Please respond either via readnews or to me Richard Kurak (yykurak@csd.lerc.nasa.gov) (216)-433-8256 NASA Lewis Research Center
