History: 1186 Koto 2.02 Release. Trying to track down a "HARD DISK ERROR - READERROR" trying to copy a Sysout from another machine onto a second LispFiles partition, I tried the diagnostics to see if there were any new bad pages. Offline Diagnostics Version 1.2 Physical Volume Scavenge - No problem found Scan for New Bad Pages - No bad pages found Lisp SystemTool of 13-Jun-86 22:10 Selecting LispFiles from the Volume Menu (prior to doing a scavenge) gives an immediate 0915. Lisp booted after skipping over a break "ARG NOT PageGroup" associated with HOSTS.TXT but LispFiles seems to be truncated (certainly none of the recently edited files are present) - what can I do now? Is there any way to fix up the directory? (From previous experience SCAVENGEDSKDIRECTORY isnt likely to improve the situation.) Should I go back and re-partition? Or will the disk require re-formatting? Happy New Year! Andrew
