SCHMIDT@SUMEX-AIM.STANFORD.EDU (Christopher Schmidt) (01/20/88)
On SUMEX-AIM.STANFORD.EDU in <LISPUSERS.LYRIC.PS> I put a copy of POSTSCRIPT.DFASL and POSTSCRIPT.LSP. I modified four functions from the Koto source (POSTSCRIPT.FONTCREATE POSTSCRIPT.INIT PSCFONT.SPELLFILE \POSTSCRIPT.PUTCHAR) to change the treatment of FONTDESCRIPTORs so that the module would compile in Lyric. Sketch works. HARDCOPYW doesn't. TEdit works if you set the global variables POSTSCRIPT.CLIPPINGREGION and/or POSTSCRIPT.CLIPPINGREGION.LANDSCAPE to reasonable values. I normally wouldn't post such a braindamaged internal release, but I do so in case there is someone out there who is really desperate. I intend to address the abovementioned problems eventually, but I make no promises as to when. --Christopher P.S. I won't be able to do anything about bug reports anyone sends me regarding the Lyric version of this package. I doubt the original author (Matt Heffron) cares to receive them either, since they could have been introduced either by me or by the Koto => Lyric changeover. -------
