[SUMEX-AIM.STANFORD.EDU]<LISPUSERS.LYRIC>TCPPRINTICMPPATCH.LSP, .DFASL is a small file that redefines PRINTICMP to print the reason a host is unreachable as well as the fact that it is unreachable. This patch is of interest only to people who use an IPTRACE window and see ICMP "host unreachable" messages whose meaning is unclear. BTW, I heartily recommend that people who use TCP always load TCPEXPORTS. When this file is loaded the IPTRACE, DOMAIN.TRACE and FTPDEBUG windows are much more informative because the IP constants get printed out symbolically. There's not much point in using TCPPRINTICMPPATCH unless you have TCPEXPORTS loaded. --Christopher -------
