[comp.sys.xerox] Lyric PostScript driver

BEC.HEFFRON@ECLA.USC.EDU (Matt Heffron) (03/19/88)

The Lyric version of the PostScript imagestream driver is now available.
It is on [SUMEX-AIM.Stanford.Edu]<LISPUSERS.LYRIC.PS> (all the files)
and the fonts are in <LISPUSERS.LYRIC.PS.FONTS> (all the files).
Anonymous FTP should work...

If you already have the Koto version, you can save time!! The file
PSCFONT-FIX-FILENAME contains a function which will rename the font files
from the Koto naming convention to the Lyric names (the contents of the
files have not changed).

This version fixes lots of bugs. The POSTSCRIPT.PS file is the already
PostScript-ified version of the .TEDIT file and can be copied directly to
a PostScript capable printer to get hardcopy. The function to send the
PostScript format output to the printer has been moved to the file PS-SEND
so everyone can make their site-specific changes without needing to recompile
the whole thing. (If you MUST recompile the POSTSCRIPT. file, use TCOMPL,
*NOT* CL:COMPILE-FILE! And you will need EXPORTS.ALL loaded as well.)

Persons without FTP access should call their Xerox rep and tell them that
Xerox Software Support in Pasadena has it, and have them get it for you.
(Please don't abuse this nicety on their part! If you know several people
who would like it, one person get it from Xerox and then share it. Thanks.)

The PostScript ImageStream Driver is NOT included in the Lyric LispUsers
Modules which Xerox is now making available.
