[comp.sys.xerox] Free Interlisp-D Software, Manuals

craig@gpu.utcs.toronto.edu (Craig Hubley) (08/21/88)

To all Interlisp users (if any) on campus:

The Faculty of Management no longer has any Lispmachines, in fact,
their last one disappeared almost a year ago. They're only now
getting round to clearing out the office they were in.

There are two or three extra sets of manuals, stacks of software.
Manuals include hard-to-find LOOPS primer and tutorial notes.
Software includes Koto NoteCards, 1.3K, in a January/87 release,
plus Sketch with Maps, lots of undistributed LISPUSERS packages,
etc... all from PARC fileservers, downloaded for the Management
research. Lots of this stuff didn't make it into the standard
releases, but is very useful anyway.

NoteCards, in case you don't know, is a hypertext system that makes
HyperCard look very silly.

I have a package of my own that I'd like to load up and get some
sample screens from... that's why I'm looking for a home for this stuff.
Right now it's all lying in hallways on the 7th floor of the Management
building. So far as I know, it's all about to go in the dumpster.
Probably this week.
