Hi tehere Hi there! Can anyone tell me more about Medley? More means more than what was coming around in the user`s board. We do have some 11xx machines was well as some SUNs and I want to know more about the compatability. Europe seems so far away from the United States - almost nobody knows about Medley here. Michael

"I want to know more about the compatability." You can share compiled files between 11xx machines and Suns. While recompiling is recommended, I (and others) have had a lot of luck just loading in Lyric .LCOMs and .DFASLs on a Sun. Sysouts can also be moved from an 11xx to a Sun. (Because of some memory management information that isn't kept up to date on the Sun, you can't make a sysout on a Sun and load it on an 11xx. ) There are a few other changes in the file system, e.g., there are two file devices {DSK} and {UNIX}. Both talk to the Unix file system, but {DSK} has case-insensitive file name search and version numbers. Maybe you have some more specific questions in mind?
