(this was previously posted to comp.text, and it was suggested that I repost to comp.sys.xerox) a friend of my boss has tons of tables written using a xerox star's word processor. he wants to move these tables to some other computer, he would be happy with almost any other computer! (he loves the star but he has to work with others) xerox provides a way to export a DCA doc, but then the tables are lost in the translation. does anyone know of a program to translate xerox star wp docs to another format that can preserve tables? does anyone know if the format of a xerox star wp file is documented somewhere? please reply by mail to jeg@wjh12.harvard.edu or post to comp.sys.xerox. write me if you want a copy of any replies I receive. thanks!
