Is there anyway to get to a lower-level of copyfile ? The reason I asked is that the darn function or the device drivers part of the system is doing the calculation wrong when it comes to copying large files (sysouts) from local disk onto floppies. It thinks that the large file only takes say 7 floppies when in real life it takes 8 -- the 7th floppy hence took almost twice as long to copy and eventually the process got hung -- basically, the 7th floppy all got messed up. I was using sysout mode and I've also tried hugepilot mode -- no luck at all. Is there any patch around or another way to get around this stupid machine ? Any pointers appreciated. -- Eric Ho Princeton University eho@confidence.princeton.edu
