FYI:

Got a mailnote from Owen Rees (rtor@ansa.uucp) saying that the function
I told you about in an earlier mailnote can be compiled on 1186s if you
use the 1.1 release of Medley. Owen ! Thanks also for the other
info you gave me.

The function was :
