I have a couple of dead 6085 workstations; one that I've acquired recently and another that I've been using for Viewpoint (standard word processing). Both machines will not boot; the cursor code changes to 02-00. I've also tried to boot off of the diagnostics floppy unsucessfully. One of the machines will eventually shut down power after around 10 minutes of being hung in the 02-00 state. I have checked the power (+5, +-12) and it looks good with a voltmeter, no movement of the digits; I haven't checked with an Oscope, but I suspect it is one of the other cards. Has anyone run into this problem before? Any suggestions? Know what it means? Any help would be appreciated. You can either post or email.
