[comp.sys.zenith.z100] BBSs Supporting Z100s?

pmd@cbdkc1.UUCP (10/29/87)

A few weeks ago I posted a query regarding info on any BBSs that
support public domain software for z100s. The only response I
got was from someone asking me to post any info that I gained.
Did I really ask in vain?

Sorry to post to the net, but my mailer won't answere the message. The Balto
Heath Users Group has a limited access BB that has some Z100 software, and
several Z100 users that have Milnet access to Simtel20 (the great depository
for PD software). The number is 301-661-2175. Also I'm sure that the Capital
Heath User Group has Z100 software & Support, but I haven't used it yet (just
joined). You can write to them at: Capital heath User's Group, Post office Box
16406, Arlington, VA 2215-1406.

I suppose that everyone else thought that someone else would do this. I only
have two bulletin boards that I know about that try to support the z-100.

The first is run by the local zenith dealer, even though he no longer sells or
supports the z-100 himself, the board does have some software. The number is
404-252-4345.

The other is the HUG bulletin board advertised in REMARK. Its number is:
616-982-3956. Due to long distance charges, I have not been on in a long time.

One other that did support the z-100 at least the last time that I was on was
BIX, which is advertised in BYTE. I do not have a number for this, as it is
reached through tymenet.
