Some times you get a 'device error' on boot up. To fix it, when you get the finger: --> Output b4,6c ; select c: --> Output b0,8 ; restore to track 00 --> Boot This will reset the head to track 00 and make it good to go. Oh yea, I did get my drives going after I sent the drive's optional Head Load and Two Sided Disk signals to the Z. If some one could get this to AHD (he was the one who told me there was a prob) he would like it. Rob -------
