Gern, I am not much of a technician nor am I well versed in assembly, but I have a few questions/ideas concerning ZPC enhancements. 1. I have noticed a few programs, on the market now, that allow one to use a hard disk to emulate EMS. Could a routine be added to ZPC that would allow usage of say the UCI 2Meg memory disks to emulate EMS? 2. Since the Z-100 video is capable of displaying 640x480 could ZPC be modified/rewritten to emulate the EGA and/or VGA? I understand that part of the 768K main memory would be required reducing available memory to 512K or less but if the EMS emulation is possible then part of the lost memory problem could be minimized. With video enhancements, such as PROSCAN and the Hughes Development's V1 board, the above modifications could provide some of us with an additional software base. A final question, I understand that the V20 chip includes some, or all, of the 80186 instructions. If this is true would a version of ZPC that takes advantage of this make the above projects possible and allow some of the new 286 only software to run on a Z-100? Thanks for your help. Marc Frederick
