[comp.sys.zenith.z100] Color Monitor Recommendations

elder%info2.DECnet@info7.cds.wpafb.MIL ("INFO2::ELDER") (02/03/88)

I've finally started thinking about replacing my black & white
monitor on my Z100 with a color monitor. Does anyone have any
recommendations for a good, inexpensive color monitor for the Z100?
Thanks in advances.

Greg,

I have been using a ZVM-135 for about 2 years now. One nice
feature is the composite video and audio inputs. When my TV had
to go in the shop I was able to use my VCR tuner and monitor to
take it's place.

If you are planning on using the PROSCAN upgrade you will need a
multi-sync monitor. PROSCAN is a $65 modification that will
allow the Z-100 to display 640x480 video without using interlace
mode (no flicker at this higher resolution.)

Zenith is still selling the ZVM-135, but I don't remember the
price.
