[comp.sys.zenith.z100] Disk Prices ?

RDYSART@SIMTEL20.ARPA (Dick Dysart STEWS-TELG 6125) (02/23/88)

Netlandians,
Who currently has the best bulk disk prices ?
If I'm going to download the PD1:<HZ100> collection AND unARC (unPKXARC) it
I'm going to require more disks.

Second question.
I've UNLOCKed Lotus 1-2-3 V2.01, installed it under ZPC per P.S.,
but it hangs-up from the install program. Any Ideas?

MEI from Columbus Ohio has good no-name disk prices for DDDS 5-1/4".
If you order 200 they are only 25 cents each. The 100 quantity price
is 27 cents each. Call 800-634-3478 to order. I have purchased two
orders from them so far and no bad diskettes.

These should be considered as "archive" diskettes. I use only Dysan
brand diskettes when they must stay in the drives for a long period of
time. MEI sometimes has sales on the Dysan brand.

I've had about 200 disks from the place in Ohio (MEI?).
The disk have done fine, except that they don't seem to be as
weather tolerant as my Dysans. When a box of my disks got left in
the sun, I had a coulpe of errors in the cheap disks, but no
problem with Dysans. (I guess you just buy 4 times as many and make
backups of everything, that's what I do.)

I guess at $.25 each, 98% accuracy is good. I won't buy
anymore name brands.
