I have a Morrow Pivot II portable computer purchased right before Morrow went out of business, my luck. It is, I am told, internally equivalent to the Zenith Z-171 lunchbox computer, since it was a joint development venture between the two companies. I would like to expand it in the following ways: - Hard disk, to replace 1 internal floppy - CPU speedup: NEC V20, clock speedup, etc. - External Chassis (w/ hard disk if internal is impossible) - MS-DOS Version 3 - BIOS ROM upgrade (if any) I have already upgraded the display to supertwist LCD (great!!). I last had contact with a Howard Fulmer who seemingly founded a company, Pivot Computer Corp. (2101 Webster Suite 1701, Oakland, CA 94612: last known address). About a year ago he was working on a new internal BIOS ROM and an internal hard disk. Today he and Pivot Computer are nowhere to be found (I had about 3 numbers and tried all to no avail). Does he exist anywhere? Does Zenith sell any of the aforementioned upgrades? Has anyone tried to wing it alone on any of those upgrades?
