The other day I was using my '100 for trivial yet important things like Nethack and Moria. These games have a setup file that allows you to define the ASCII characters to use to display various objects like walls, traps, fountains, etc ad nauseum. Is there any way to make the '100 use the H19 character set in the high bit numbers? The setup file wants a one number code for each object. On a PC, the high bit numbers contain the graphics. On a '100, they are regular characters. Are the high bit characters actually stored in memory on a '100, or do they point to the same 0-127 characters? If they are actually stored, it would seem that I could write a program to read in a new set to store at those locations. If it isn't possible, I guess I will have to keep downgrading my machine using ZPC. I'd rather not, though. Roger
