Does anybody have the binaries for MicroEMACS 3.9 for the Z100? I would like to change to this version so that the startup files and help files will work. The package at simtel has the sources for the Z, but the ARC'd exe package leaves the Z out. I don't expect to have a compiler working for some time yet. Thanks for any help. Michael

I have MicroEmacs 3.9 sources and binaries that *so-far* seem to work fine. I used MSC 5.0 to compile, and there are certain problems with the original source code on non-IBM machines. I plan to send new sources, source changes, and executables to SIMTEL20 when I have a clear understanding with KPetersen there about storing binaries from Multics machines (like this one). The binaries provide key-based support, using Zenith scan-codes to provide very good function sypport. A "reasonable" .RC file should be included with the archive. By the way, for code size buffs: The MSC 5.0 binaries average about 105K, and the Lattice binaries about 80K. The only difference I work with is that the MSC binaries include wild card support on the co?6cmmand line. MSchwartz -at DOCKMASTER

Can you send a copy of the source my way? I have not learned to access info on Arpanet. Thanks in advance. Douglas M. Delorge IP60577@Portland.Bitnet
