[comp.sys.zenith.z100] XMS Driver from Microsoft

W8SDZ@WSMR-SIMTEL20.ARMY.MIL (Keith Petersen) (12/06/88)

The recently uploaded HIMEM.ARC has been deleted as it was an older
version of the XMS driver. It has been replaced with:

Filename Type Bytes CRC

Directory PD1:<MSDOS.SYSUTL>
XMS20.ARC BINARY	131831 05B3H

As described in issue V7, #57 of the Info-IBMPC Digest, this is the
"eXtended Memory Specification (XMS)", version 2.0, dated 7/19/88. It
also includes an implementation of an eXtended Memory Manager (XMM),
HIMEM.SYS version 2.04, dated 8/17/88. This HIMEM.SYS is the same as
the one being distributed with versions of MS-DOS and Windows.
