[comp.sys.zenith.z100] modem program compatible with U.S.R. S-100 modem

I have a U.S. Robotics S-100 modem card for which I would like to find
a working modem program with kermit and/or xmodem protocol file transfer
capability. I was hoping to modify a copy of Kermit for that purpose,
but was not able to assemble it on my system (as I have only MASM ver 1).

Any help you could offer would be appreciated as I will soon have the S-100
board as my only available modem.

How much did the S-100 modem cost? I am interested to see how they
compare to the externals.

I beleive that Besterm supports the S-100. If I remember right, the
author included a patch in the docs for the S-100.

Jesse,

I got the S-100 modem card second hand. I'm not sure what the price
is brand new. I'll check out BESTERM. Thanks.

Have you tried Telix? It seems to work for everything I've ever encountered...
